The intuitive Body
Impression after the second edition
In August 2024 an international group of 36 young people from Italy, Germany and Switzerland met in the Swiss mountains to create for 9 days a safe container for somatic research and creative expression. Learning techniques for dance improvisation and tools for emotional regulation was as important as making new international friends and enjoying nature and the summer sun. As a conclusion of this journey the participants developed their own performances. The performances showed that MIM 2024 was not only a vivid playground for dance and theatrical improvisation. But also allowed to investigate around the topic of gender identity/queerness/patriarchy and supported the participants in building a nourishing and appreciating connection to their own bodies.
